During these difficult times our dedicated teams are working around the clock to continue looking after our young people. To facilitate social distancing, our office based support staff will be working from home wherever possible and can be contacted using the numbers on our Contact Us page. We are still reviewing all referrals, offering placements where relevant, and planning for young people to move into our homes where it is safe to do so. Despite the challenges we all face during these testing times, we are committed to supporting you and our young people.
The summer term started with all staff and young people getting together in our Cheshire School. A 'Bring and Share' lunch was organised to welcome everyone back to school.
Everyone got something out of it... not just a lovely lunch but the opportunity to talk about what they had done over the holidays and what they were looking forward to over the summer term.
We are delighted to announce that, following a full ISA inspection of our Silsoe school on both compliance and quality, we have been awarded the result of Fully Compliant.
We have achieved this through the hard work, dedication and support of all of our staff, to whom we are very grateful, and we were pleased to share the great result with them in a pre-Easter celebration.
The full report is available to read under the Education section of our website, however the findings below give a flavour of its content:
The quality of the pupils’ personal development is EXCELLENT
The quality of the pupils' academic achievement and other achievements is GOOD

While the sun is shining and some people are enjoying the Easter break from school some of our Key Stage 4 students are in school preparing for the summer examinations.
Staff have kindly given students their time and experience to help with a little extra preparation for the examinations which are quickly coming around.
We acknowledge that part of the preparation for exams is not only the academic challenge but also the stamina and strategies used to take the tests with a positive mindset and understanding. Staff are taking time to help students to understand the format of the exams and reading the questions during the school break to ensure that they feel comfortable and able to focus in a time that can be quite difficult.
It is hoped that the Easter revision sessions will give them more confidence in themselves and their abilities to continue to revise at home and face the examinations with the right attitude, feeling that they have done everything they can to do their best!
We look forward to seeing the results of their hard work and commitment.
